Nordiska Kompaniet

Josef Sachs founded Nordiska Kompaniet in 1902 with a clear ambition in mind. The department store NK was intended to be both a commercial and cultural theater—a stage for contemporary life. The doors to the store on Hamngatan in Stockholm opened in 1915. Since then, it has hosted everything from iconic personalities to exclusive launches.

Regardless of what happens at NK, the department store is known for always staying one step ahead. Our Newport store is located on the third floor.
